RVing has changed our “goodbyes” into “see ya laters.” After saying our “see ya laters” to our family in Indiana we hit the road and headed north. Our destination was Madison, Wisconsin.

HOME SWEET HOME ON WHEELS

Up until now the places we’ve stayed on our journey from Key West to Alaska have been new to us. This week was a little different. We spent the week in one of America’s heartland states, Indiana. It’s the place where I grew up and where the majority of my family still lives. Our mission this week was to spend quality time with family and to see at least two new things in the area. We wanted to show our kids that you can find always find adventure near or far.

Chattanooga was not originally on our itinerary, but after following your suggestions to go RVing in Stone Mountain and reading your comments on the Go RVing Facebook page, we decided a change of plans was necessary. Ahhh flexibility, another one of the many wonderful things about traveling by RV. There aren’t any flights to catch or hotel reservations to change. Of course there can be campground reservations, but aside from the occasional hard to get into park like a few of the more popular national parks, we’ve found that making and changing campground reservations beat airlines and hotels any day.
